Top of bookcase47 viewsRouted trim, hides some gaps and adds beauty to the project. The plan is to have this done and in the new Pole Barn room in time for Leighanne and Levi to enjoy using it. Should be done well before then.

Laying out the initial cuts26 viewsSome guys like to cut all the pieces at once. Some like to do them sequentially. I haven't found a good method that works for me yet. But I'm starting to like cutting out all the pieces first so I can move to the next "phase" of the project without having to make more cuts.

Outdoor kitchen-sink and side burner + griddle73 viewsThe sink module, plus the side burner. Very nice is the griddle, which will make pancakes and other items possible while using the main BBQ area for other things.

Another view of the new sink, with the new towel rack31 viewsNote the cabin/woodsy theme. Very nice.

My version of simple patio furniture30 viewsI created two simple chairs and a 'cocktail' table from PT lumber. All thats missing is sanding things down so you don't get butt splinters. It should hold up pretty nicely under LaPine's harshest winters.

Side view of table top22 viewsShowing dimensions of the side. Used 2x4 and OSB for the material. No glue used so I can disassemble if needed.

A little help from my buddy44 viewsMcKinley likes to "help" whatever we do. In this photo he's serving as a living shop-vac of sorts. Until I start cutting or drilling he'll stick it out with me in the garage.

Finished product26 viewsTable top is finished, with fridge on top. Note that this (somewhat) ugly looking project is quite sturdy. I've used it as a step stool of sorts.

Side view-outdoor kitchen62 viewsShows all the cooking and countertop areas. The tops are granite, which made the weight of each module crazy heavy.Aug 25, 2008

Large trailer-a house all by itself47 viewsWayne and I finished this earlier this summer. The awning will be overdone with natural wood accents and will blend in with our "outdoor theme" we go for at the LaPine property. It's a nice trailer, with all the amenities of the house except a smaller shower stall.Aug 18, 2008

Brochure of outdoor kitchen61 viewsThis will go under the covered porch in the back of the house. Very sweet arrangement, which I planned to build on my own. To part out the cost would have been close to the total purchase from Costco. Not to mention the time saved. Woohoo!Aug 18, 2008
